Crews are not allowed to use lane 3 for training. You can use lanes 0, 1 and 2 to row towards the start and use lanes 4, 5, 6 and 7 to row towards the finish. Please use the lane assigned to your boat type to avoid problems with speed differences.?During the days on which the races take place, training is allowed up to thirty minutes before the start of the first race and as of thirty minutes after the finish of the last race of the day.

DURING TRAINING PERIODS: The traffic rules for training apply during all the times the course is open for training.

During Racing
No crew is allowed to row towards the start or use the rowing course for warming up earlier than 45 minutes before the start of its event. All crews not involved in a race must always give way to those in a race and stop rowing at a distance of at least 250 meters. Cooling down is allowed as far as the 1500 meter line. Always cross lanes decisively at 90 degree angles, and make way for the races.

During normal weather conditions lanes 2 - 7 will be used for races.

Rowing towards the start must take place in lane 0, the lane close to the finish tower. It is allowed to row in the direction of the finish using lane 2 or 3, up till the 1250 meter mark, but only if none of the racing crews is disturbed or hindered.

Once it has arrived in the start area, a crew is not allowed to leave lane 0 until you receive instructions from the starter. Warming up and cooling down in lane 1 and 4 - 7 is strictly forbidden.

Rowing towards the finish during cooling down is allowed in lane 2 or 3 (after the 1500 meter mark).

During the races the boats must have a bow number that will be distributed by the control commission. No deposit is required. The bow number has to be returned immediately after the race.

GENERAL
Infringement of the regulations can result in an official penalty, a Yellow Card. This Yellow Card shall remain in effect until the upcoming race has been rowed. A crew receiving two Yellow Cards which apply to the same race, for any infringement whatsoever, shall be excluded from the event.
